The Best Urban Shopping Streets

27 June 2013 3 CommentsBy Sarah Shaw

So after hearing me blabber on (and on and on) about finding out where your target market lives, eats and breathes, so you can figure out where to sell your awesome products…..  I wanted to add one more quick tip for you.

Try to figure out what the best shopping streets are in each city you are targeting.   Usually if you goggle "Best (or trendiest) shopping street (city)" you will get a pretty good selection.  You can also call the chamber of commerce and ask them – of course you might get a semi-retired volunteer who thinks that……well you get the idea.

I found a few that might interest you:

  • Venice Beach: Abbot Kinney
  • Brooklyn: Smith Street
  • Chicago: North Damen
  • New Orleans: Magazine Street
  • Austin: South Congress

If you want to learn more tips and tricks on how to approach these stores once you find them (and more tricks on finding them too), check out my free webinar.

Great idea Sarah! I’ve been to all those places but I don’t think I’ve shopped on all those streets. Pinpointing where to focus your efforts is so key. Keep on “blabbering”!
