Great question – I do think it’s a great place to look for reps and if they are busy – simply get their card and contact them at a later date.

Thanks so much for all of the helpful information on finding sales reps. I’m actually looking to find a couple more reps but I have a question related to this article. Several months back, I had asked a sales rep I know what she thought about me attending tradeshows in hopes I could meet some potential sales reps for my company. She actually thought it might not be the best place because they would be busy working for the lines they already represent and might not have the time to speak with you. What do you think about that? What has your experience been?
