Sometimes the fastest way to find sales reps is to visit the shows where they exhibit. They are often available to speak, and will certainly take your card and catalog if you leave it with them. This is a fabulous opportunity to find tons of reps under one roof and see them in action as well as all the lines they carry – they are in the spotlight and easy to find.

Thanks so much for all of the helpful information on finding sales reps. I’m actually looking to find a couple more reps but I have a question related to this article. Several months back, I had asked a sales rep I know what she thought about me attending tradeshows in hopes I could meet some potential sales reps for my company. She actually thought it might not be the best place because they would be busy working for the lines they already represent and might not have the time to speak with you. What do you think about that? What has your experience been?
